Personal information:
Born in Houston Texas April 13, 1939.
Married to my wonderful wife Cheryl Ann. We
have 4 children and 3 grandchildren.
My hobbies are many. I have just finished building
an award winning customized
1947 Ford convertible
. My present project is designing and building a "futursitic" 1951 Hudson
My philosophy of art and being an
artist is two-fold. The first and most difficult for any of
us is to love what we do and have what we love to do be our chosen profession.
The second concerns what I produce as an artist. My creations
are based on my day to day experiences and observations of humanity and
their dealing with the predicament of life. I am not a purist
nor do I seek total realism in my art but I try to offer something that
will stir the imagination of the viewer. My pleasure is knowing
that I may have taken the viewer away from the harsh reality of this
world and given them a sense of wonderment and hope.
